Aquarium de la Guadeloupe

Aquarium de la Guadeloupe (Place Crêole – Marina, Le Gosier, Grand-Terre) – this small aquarium represents the biodiversity of the Caribbean, from sea tortoises to sharks, stingrays, and a variety of tropical fish.    Admission: €11 (adult), €7.50 (students and children ages 5-12), Free for children (ages 4 and under)   Hours:  9:00 am – 6:30 pm.  See its website for more detail:   www.aquariumdelaguadeloupe.com

 

Beyond the aquarium itself, interested families can arrange for an “Ecotour” expedition – which involves snorkeling .  This gives participants better exposure to the marine environment within Guadeloupe’s waters.  Charge (for half-day excursion):  €59 (adult), €43 (children ages 5-12), €15  (children ages 4 and under);  for full-day excursion:  €85 (adult), €59 (children ages 5-12), €20 (children ages 4 and under).
